Xavier University
Xavier University, Bonaire is located in the Netherlands Antilles, was founded by group of physicians who practice and teach clinical medicine and basic sciences in the United States. Xavier University, Bonaire is recognized by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), World Health Organization (WHO), Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research/International Medical Education Directory (FAIMER/IMED) and the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) and is also in the process of listing itself with UNESCO Handbook of International Universities.
Xavier University, Bonaire is one of the very few Caribbean medical schools whose members of its Board of Trustees are primarily U.S. physicians.
Of late Xavier is developing pathway study centers world Wide for various programs like pre-medical education, MBA etc. They plans are to have around 300 study centers in over 25 countries by end of 2014
We understand that you are an education institution in your country; hence we take the honour to propose you a new program that would in need be benefited to your Education Institution as well as the students.
The Program: -
ALLTERE, Xavier University & Some Universities in Philippines have jointly developed pathway program that shall lead the student to Study medicine from Quality partner universities worldwide.
The pathway program works like this...
- Your Center shall offer training for an NON Lab based pre-medical programs
- This program is for 16 months, fast track of 4 trimesters.
- At the end of the program the students will be awarded a Bachelors of preparatory medicine by Xavier University
- They would enroll for Medical program in our of Xavier Managed programs in Philippines or Netherlands Antilles
- The MD- Doctor of Medicine program is for 4 years in Philippines or Netherlands Antilles.
- The students will have options to study Complete MD program in Philippines or to do the final year in USA too.
This program has been primarily designed to study medicine in Philippines. WHY???
1. Philippines follow the American system of Education. To enter Doctor of Medicine program the student must have completed a bachelors already.
2. Hence the fast track program credits subjects from A levels into the bachelors program { up to 60 Credits} and then we have the 16 month, trimester program, for rest of the credits, totaling to 140 Credits and hence the bachelors is awarded.
Will the student get Confirmed admission into Doctor of Medicine Program?
Student will be given confirm admission for Medicine in Doctor prior admitting by our partner Universities in Philippines. This is through the articulation agreement between Xavier and our partner university.
