Executive Education offers a mentoring service to assist potential candidates to apply for and to write this examination. This service will cover the process below. PREREQUISITES FOR ENTRANCE TO THE EXAMINATION
2. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
You select which of the following categories you fall into:
Category I:
The candidate holds a baccalaureate/equivalent university degree.
Category II:
The candidate does not hold the above but holds a high school
diploma/equivalent secondary school credential.
3. EXPERIENCE
Experience is evaluated by means of the submission of:
A) general curriculum vitae.
B) Experience verification forms setting out the hours of experience gained in the various process groups. Each project to be set out on a separate verification form and must fall within the eligible time frame.
Category I requires 4500 hours of project management experience gained during the past six years. This must be represented by 36 non-overlapping months of practical experience.
Category II requires 7500 hours of project management experience gained during the past eight years. This must be represented by 60 non-overlapping months of practical experience.
4. EXAMINATION
A four hour exam must be taken at a registered prometric examination station. This can be done in

7. MAINTENANCE OF PMP STATUS:
In order to maintain PMP certification, PMP’s are required to attain no less than 60 Professional Development Units (PDU’s) within a three year cycle and must agree to adhere to the PMI Professional Code of Conduct.
